New management team PTV Austria GmbH: Dual management strengthens local market

Peter Möhl and Thomas Epp appointed as managing directors / Expansion of the Logistics segment throughout Austria and South-Eastern Europe

Vienna, Austria, July 9, 2019. Thomas Epp and Peter Möhl have been appointed managing directors of PTV Austria GmbH. Based on their international management experience and product expertise, the long-standing PTV employees will strengthen the local team. Customers in Austria and South-Eastern Europe now have a central point of contact regarding transport and logistics issues.

"Our aim is to support PTV customers quickly and efficiently, and to respond to their individual needs. This only works if we are close to the market," says Peter Möhl. Thomas Epp adds: "We work with specialists from the transport industry on a day-to-day basis, so it is important that the PTV team in Vienna convinces with its expertise and market knowledge. This applies to both sales and professional services."

At the same time, PTV Austria is expanding the Logistics segment, turning it into another key pillar of its corporate portfolio. Customers in the transport industry will benefit from this expansion: “Be it dispatcher or transport planner, everyone in our sales region will now have a direct point of contact: PTV Austria GmbH,” confirms Thomas Epp.

Two managing directors - one goal
Peter Möhl has been working for the PTV Group at its German headquarters in Karlsruhe for 19 years. As Director Sales Traffic Software he has developed the international business in various regions of the world. As of this year, he runs PTV Austria’s business as Managing Director.

Thomas Epp was appointed second Managing Director. He has been representing PTV in Vienna, Austria, since 2008. One of his achievements is the successful establishment of a Professional Services team that is involved in projects all over the world. Thomas Epp focuses on merging the business fields of transport and logistics in Austria and South-Eastern Europe.

Together they are driving forward PTV’s growth strategy in these regions.
